Goldeneye was the best game for the Nintendo 64.

I really like the xbox 360 that I have, and I plan on getting a Wii.
I liked my PS2 when I stilled played it, and the 64 was a blast too back in the day.

N64 owns you all.

And Dre, you forgot the wonderful 0-bit glory of Telstar! And it's unimaginable selection of three games... which all happen to be versions of pong....

Maybe a controller consisting of a dial was a bad idea...

I beg to differ.

I'd have to agree.
As a developing platform for gaming pc > *. As a gaming platform, PC fails, mainly due to:
- Disorganized system (steam is the best ATM, but it needs to be better)
- Keyboard and mouse is lame.
- PC has a horrible gaming architecture. Consoles are streamlined to squeeze every ounce out of a graphics card, CPU and ram.

I'd have to agree with Ace... I just went from my 360 on the TV down to my laptop, and my eyes had to readjust for a couple minutes, scaling down from the awesomeness of HD gaming to.... this.

That's a laptop, I mean, comparing a low-end computer to a purpose built console isn't really a fair match.. then again.. a built up gaming computer is completely out of the price range... so it's basically moot.

I'd still go with the comp though, as you can do more with it, though consoles are catching up.
