I don't have cash to buy a new one for my MR2, so I plan to replace it with the bolt from my brother's MR1

You CAN use the MR1 bolt in the MR2. I don't know the procedure to change up the bolts to fit the MR2, but it can easily be done. Do a forum Search.

I got the MR1 bolt to fit the MR2, but the MR2 bolt will not fit in the MR1. {that was the point of the thread, faction}.

the MR1 cocking pin doesn't have the right spacing for the bearing to hold it in. after a few shots, it flipped out the top of the striker.
