Default Home-made Pulse feedneck replacement

Sorry guys but I got to tell somebody about this one. I got bored today and sick of staring at my 2 smoke pulse shells w/busted feednecks so I start tinkering and came up with.......

It's rock solid (shook the **** out of it, and everything I could think of short of doing superman's in the yard, and it won't break).

I'm posting because my wife doesn't get what a big deal this is to me, her "THAT'S NICE HONEY", response doesn't satisfy my glee. OH and I forgot too mention this cost all of $1.98
Take that DXS

Wow thats cool. If I ever get a Pulse and have a broken feedneck I'll consult you!

Is the feedneck the same size as the regular feedneck?

That looks really clean and nicely constructed. to you sir

All depends on which PVC style pipe you use ( I did both, white PVC and Gray {irrigation pipe PVC, which is slightly smaller in diameter}). The white PVC fits my A1 feedneck perfectly, my pilot's out to anno so I can't tell you which fits it better. But both work same as the stock feedneck, w/the exception of the stock pulse's feedneck "wobble". The stock feedneck is not perfectly round, the PVC pipe is, so it is a better fit than stock.

Well, it passed the field testing w/flying colors, I used one and gave another to a friend that's on a semi-pro team today (very aggressive player) and they both held up to some serious abuse. As for the adhesive used to seal the pvc pipe to the collar, it's called Industrial Strenght E-6000, I can't remember where I got it but it is very similar to GOOP. Sets well but is still pliable. I tried it w/a good 2 part epoxy at first but it set too hard and ended up cracking. We each took hits right on the feedneck exactly where the feedneck meets the hopper and absolutely no paint got in.

If anybody is interested in this and doesn't feel confortable doing it themselves PM me.
