What is the average pressure inside of a C02 tank?, i want to know because i am buying a drop forward (please post any opinions on this item) and it says it has two holes, so i was going to also buy a gauge, but i want to know the pressure in the co2 tank before i make my choice. as of right now i am thinking of a dye gauge
will this combo work? any thoughts on what i should do, please tell me thanks |

the psi on a C02 tank is roughly 800psi. So the gauge is too high.
Here is the right one: http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/...sAAAD_Wz9HHcI7

on that site it said some guns work better with a siphon tube (takes only liquid into the gun), and some with an ANTI siphon tube, iv never heard of a siphon tube, what kind of gun would work with that?
am i the only one that finds that graph a little confusing, why do the lines from 80* to 0* go straight across? |

The oldschool tippies ran well on siphoned CO2. Siphon is the opposite of anti-siphon, it sucks liquid co2 into the gun...

Liquid co2 doesnt make you lose pressure the idea is instead of using the valve to meter out a small amount of unstable co2 gas to propel the ball use the valve to meter a small amount of liquid that will flash to gas and propel the ball. liquid co2 will work well below 0 where even 40* weather will give gas issues. co2 is self regulating but it gets cold when it turn from liquid to gas and causes drop off, running on liquid will not give this problem. Its hard to explain and there isnt much information on it anymore because HPA and EP guns are so popular now.
