If you have the extra $30, I'd get a clamping feedneck. Also, I'd look into a different hopper. A revy [revolution] or an eggy [evolution 2] would both be good for it.

It is a little pricey but I would advise getting a compressed air tank. They are bigger and there is no risk of them freezing up. Also they have gauges that tell you about how much is left in the tank. They're very useful. Like I said though, it is a bit pricey, usually near or over the $100 area.

They aren't necessarily much bigger. A 20 oz CO2 is most likely bigger than a HPA tank he could afford. I would stay with CO2 and like others said look at a clamping feedneck and a new hopper. I would go with the Evolution 2 (eggy 2) for the hopper. If you looking the the b/s/t forum here you could find one used for pretty cheap. As for feednecks look for a CCM or Trinity clamping feedneck. You'll need one with tabs or no holes.

Clamping feedneck and other loader, an eggy is perfect for that setup but get any loader besides that, they are crap

buy the clamping feedneck.....one less hopper shots(i've said some choice words about those..) two, holds your hopper extremly well, and doesnt cause it to break, which then causes you to kick it across the field......
