I think 40-50 shots is a stretch...even for my LP Esprit that was 200 psi@279 fps.....

Please let me intercede here. First thing, C02's gonna give you less shots in cold weather if that's where you're shooting for this count -
Next thing, unless you weigh the tank empty before the fill and then after it's filled, you're not absolutely sure your tank is actually full to capacity. You need to weigh the tank afterwards as well to figure out the technical count of balls used per ounce of C02. If you're just guessing at all of these things, you're really wasting your time since it seems so important to you - Nuther thing, as druid mentioned, there's no way in hell you're going to get 40-50 shots out of a 12 gram(sniker) especially with a blowback because it takes propellant to project the ball and more yet to recock your marker. I have a Phantom that requires no extra propellant to recock it and get around 30-35 shots from a 12 gram. You must consider the rapid power loss once you hit 20-25 shots as well. If you want something compact, use a 3.5oz or 4oz tank -
