I guess this is a stupid question...
I have a Spyder that is running about 800psi right now. That would give a shot count on ~600 with a 12oz tank. When I do the LP setup I will get somewhere around 300-500psi. Now the question: Does this mean that I would be able to fire 1000-1300 shots on the same 12oz tank? ![]()

The only true way to really test this is trial. Get your tank filled and keep track of how many shots you get. You can calculate the amount of shots that you would get but you are going to get into advanced physics and calculus. It just easier to keep track of what you shoot. Put a piece of masking tape on your tank and everytime you fill your hopper write down how many paintballs you put in, then add it up when your tank is empty.

Yeah, you could do that too

CO2 is horrible for charting efficiency via math. It expands, and isn't consistent in its expanding everytime. Basically what I'm saying is that your gun wont shoot at 500psi every time. You might get a few hundred shots more off the tank, but Moo's way will get you as close to an accurate number of how many shots you got off it as you will get.

These are not the answers I hoped for.
I'm thankful for them, but they were'nt expected. Is there nobody out there who actally know if it will fire more balls or not. I even got the answer LESS balls in PBnation..

don't forget about your barrel. If you overbore too much you will waste air. Not much but you will be wasting some. If you are really concerned about shot count match your paint to your bore.
I went LP and have gotten a lot of "extra" shots out of my tanks. More with HPA than C02. But it did take awhile to get the setup right. HacKeR

I was hoping to get more shots, yes.
I want to run my Spyder on a 12g CO2 in woods games. If LP can give me 40-50 shots on one 12g and a smoother operation, I'm happy. It saves my arms, it saves space, it saves time, it saves the marker and I'm happy.
