The solenoids on high ends like the PM/DM markers or any high end for that matter cant take that, it will in theory freeze the internals

Noids don't blow, the seal in them do...
In any case, I wouldn;t risk it, unless you were running anti siphoned co2, and had swapped the reg for a stab, even then, I wouldn't risk it. The SLG, is a completely different story though, if you swapped regs out and used anti-siphoned co2, you could probably get away with it.

The solenoids on all electronic markers that use a pnuematic solenoid cannot use CO2. The CO2 will either freeze and destroy the seals inside the 'noid, or the sheer causticness of the gas will destroy the fragile o-rings (especially with shoddy fills). Either way, definitely not a good idea.

Well why I ask this is because I was going to buy a Proto Rail if it could run on CO2. If it couldnt I as going to buy a Smarts Parts Epiph. Those can run on Co2 correct?

If you want to use an electro marker with Co2, buy a VS1. Why the push for CO2? Does your field fill compressed air? If so..buy an hpa tank. It's worth the money. Then you can use almost any marker you want.
