What size barrel would work better
Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a smartparts tactical barrel but i'm not sure if i want a 20 inch or a 16 inch.
I hear that 20inch barrels waste air. thanks

Yes 20 inch barrels do waste air, I would say go with a 14 or 16" barrel IMO they are the best. I had a 14" Smart Parts Linear and it was accurate as all get out.
Out of the two lengths that you have posted I would go for the 16" but dont ever go for anything longer than a 16" barrel because then you will be wasting air like mad. Another reason why you would not want to get a 20" barrel is because anything above 16 inches in length not only wastes air but also has barrel drag so might not be able to get as far with your shots IMO I would go with a different barrel in 14 inch length because they are more monuverable(sp) and are just as accurate as 16 inch barrels that get in the way.
