Default Electric Triggers

I was thinking about getting an E-Trigger gun but I heard that they can get wet. I need to know if this is true because I like to play woodsball so there is that possibility. Does anybody know if this is true, because it does kinda make sense to me.

If the grips are on there right you shouldnt have any problem in the rain. Now if you take it swimming it will more than likely mess up.
