Thanks for all the great comments!! Makes a guy feel good ya know. I picked up a clamping feedneck but as I'm sure all of you know it puts the hopper smack dab in the middle of the gun. I'm checking out some offset mounts for the red dot to correct the problem. I'm glad you guys like the paint, it was actually really easy to do. I just took some spray paint, some leaves and went to town. It is a little glossy but it makes it look almost factory and definitly not as dull.. I painted my mask to match the gun, had to do it.

Well, dull is actually the point for the stock color of the MR1 it's why it's Matte Black

Yeah Irish, I know where you are coming from. I guess I was a little off in my description... I guess you could say that I was going for more of a Matte black than Flat black. It came out pretty close to factory, I took a bunch of pics before the paint to compare. Here are a couple more with less direct light.
