It depends really what you play. I use the Halo B personaly and love it.
Some people say halo is way faster to reload on the fly so its more if your into seedball, and that the Q loader is a must for woodsball or scenario. i dont think I have heard much negative about either one. I usually play scenario or woodsball and i would never regreat getting the Halo B. But im thinking of getting a qloader to for a lower profile. |

Both are great options. The Q-loader might take a little more work to get right though. You have to set the spring tension so it's just right for your gun. Other than that I've heard great things about it. It's silent, low profile, and super fast. The Halo works great too. Very easy to use and quick to reload. Either way you go I think you'll be happy.

both are great,
but i like the halo better because i'm more of a speedball player and i need the extra 80 rounds and speedfeeds other than that i'd go with the qloader

Don't want to throw in a wrench here, but try to use one from the local field before you shell out your hard earned cash.
I had a Q for my mag and sold it. I was not crazy about the loading of the pods and that the pods did not fit in my standard packs. They are a little bigger then regular pods. The other thing I did not like was for a long day of play it was not as easy to refill your pods and go on. When we play we try to minimize down time between games.

Q-Loader is definately a different animal.
Pros: Unique, low profile, self-propelled, no batteries, low weight, requires zero tools, it's silent and you can mount it anywhere your heart desires. Cons: Less amunition(100rds vs the typical 200)-this carries over into how much you can carry in your pack as well which will be far less than your typical player. Can be fickle to dial in the pre-load at first but remarkeably easy once you understand how the unit works. You definately need to read the instructions which are easy and have tons of illustrations and photos. The Qpod loader mechanism IMO is worthless the balls get bottle necked and don't fall down properly without some vigorous shaking and if the balls dont completely fall down stacked in a nice complete 100 round row then it can lead to problems(Blender comes to mind as you continue cranking it.) I am going to make a small bucket with a funnel in the bottom and add an old revolution agitator mechanism to make a kick butt loader to overcome the original loader. It is really a great system, I own it plus a halo B and after using the halo B, I got tired of lugging the marker around, it's heavy enough as it is, then throw that brick of a halo on it and it just gets ridiculous and somewhat top heavy. Q-loader definately makes for a more balanced marker depending on where you mount it. I think the lower amount of ammunition will just teach me to be more disciplined in my shots and I plan on aquiring extra pods so inbetween rounds I have some already loaded and ready to go when I regear up.
