not anything measurable. the way i see it, colbert offers an alternative for people fed up by politics, for whatever reason. he makes a fool of himself, satirizing politicians. a vote for colbert is not a vote for any political change, but for a change in politics itself.

it's just as likely he's just doing it for the free publicity.
