Default ion .VS. pilot

i currently owna 05 spyder pilot acs and was looking to buy a eggy for it when i saw this package with a ion and an eggy for liek 329 and this question crossed my mind...


if u were me would u keep the pilot and buy a eggy seperatley...OR...sell the pilot (only accs. i have for it so far is some dye stickys) and save a little cash and buy the eggy and ion..


and if the ion is alot better then the pilot ?

If you sold your pilot you would need to have like $220 laying around b/c spyders have very low resale value. You might get $90 for the pilot. Thats not a definate figure tho, could be more could be less.

The Ion is a completely different operation than your Spyder, it's an amazing gun, especially for the price. Hands down, it will shoot nicer than your Spyder. The only situation where I would say not to get the Ion is if you have to spend all of your money on the gun and not have any left for paint, if that's the case then stick with your Spyder. Ion's do pretty much require a barrel and ASA out of the box too, so that adds on an additional $40-$50 at least for a barrel, plus whatever you spend on an on-off and rail.

a ion and egg for 329 isnt really a deal either. Buy a lnib or nib for under 200 on pbnation and buy a halo from durrell and you be set.
