i am thinking about buying a new MR1. It cost 100 dollars. Is that a good price for a brand new one? I will also be trying to mod it, that being said how easy are they to mod? And would a barrel from my spyder electra fit the MR1?

$100 is not bad. I checked out eBay, $90-120 is about average. They are the easiest of the MR series to mod due to not having any shroud. Yes, the barrel from the electra will fit. So will the trigger frame.

That is an excellent price for an MR1. I got mine when they were relatively new and paid about $140. They are fairly easy to mod. rap4.com has a bunch of barrels and the like for it. Some of the things on the MR1 are somewhat unique and are harder to mod. Most, if not all, Spyder barrels and barrels that fit on Spyders will work. I personally have a MR1 with an electro rocking trigger, a Smart Parts Progressive 14" barrel (soon to get a RIS barrel w/handguard from RAP4) and a RAP4 M4 Carbine stock from RAP4.P.S: Look at my post on the Veterans Forum about the M4 stock if you have questions or your don't think the stock will fit right.

You can get NEW MR-1's for about 80$ retail on different sites, and for about $60 "remanufactured". Reman markers perform just as good as "new", so that $20 bucks could go towards a remote line, or something else!
