Battery for the Tadao Board

Does anyone have any experience with the newer Tadao board. Do you still have to use the stock 9.6 volt rechargeable or can you use a regular 9 volt?

Any 9v style will work but youll still run into the same issues as a stock board, maybe fewer shots per volt.
