Default New Purchase & Advice Needed

I'm finally kicking CO2 to the curb and going HPA. To that end I bought a brand new 48/3000 with a brand new Smart Parts Max-Flo Micro regulator for $52 total, plus shipping. Seems like a good deal. Questions:

1) I should expect to get 500-ish shots from a 48/3000 running high/normal pressure?

2) Should I buy a second 48/3000 for backup (I can get another with another Max-Flo for around the same price) since I can't get many shots from one, or should I just buy a larger one (68/3000) and put the regulator on that. My area fields can only fill the 3000's, so don't suggest a 4500.

I don't know much about the max-flo. Is it a significant upgrade from a normal setup or regulator? What could I sell one for if I had an extra?

I know that's alot of questions, but thanks! Just answer what you can.

If your field has all day air I wouldn't buy another tank since you can refill after every game. Kinda a waste of money.

As far as 68 and 45 go. Just go with whichever feels more comfortable as long as the shots don't really matter due to all day air.

I remember max-flo's used to be a big deal around here. Not sure how they are anymore. Don't see anybody using them anymore though so..I doubt you could really make too much money.

I say you save up and buy a 45/45 or a 68/45
carbon fiber preferably; follow this advice and thank me later

I remember a while back when Maxflos were the shiznit but not really sure about today.

I know you said dont say get a 4500psi tank but you may end up ay a field that has 4500psi fills & you wanna test some new parts at home & youll wish you had that extra 1500 psi.

Anyway, sounds like you got a good deal.

thats a little harsh, everyone makes mistakes.

go with a 68 3000 fiber wrapped tank light and your field can fill them.

You're right.
Sorry 118917. Didn't really mean it so sound so harsh. It was 12:15 at night so I guess I was a little ornery.

It doesn't matter if he gets a 4500 tank because it can still be filled to 3000 and still work. I say get the 4500 because if the field upgrades later or another field has 4500 fills you can get a full fill.
