Let's not forget the 9-11 anniversary. I have my flags up today.

My how time flies. I can't imagine that it has already been 6 years since that dreaded day. Take time today to reflect and to hug your parents, children, brothers and sisters. The folks that were in that building and the emergency crew that tried to save them all thought that they were going to have time to hug their families and friends and in a blink of an eye they were gone. Lets not let their memory fade with each passing year. God bless.

To be honest... this thread just made me cry.

Has anyone seen the movie "World Trade Center" with Nicholas Cage in it? I've never cried harder in a movie.

I remember when it happened... I was in middle school and then all the TV's came on and the principal announced over the loud speakers for us to watch it and have a moment of silence. (This was before the second tower got hit)

There was crying, histeria and idk what else and everyone was upset. Then the second tower got hit and everyone in the entire school was at a dead silence.

I remember going through school the rest of the day wondering if my brother and his gf got out safely/away from it before it fell.

God bless the people that died and the brave souls who went in to try to save them. God bless those that survived and those that saved them.

My history teachers mom was on a plane on 9/11 with two of the Hi-Jackers(sp?) from Maine to Boston before they got on the other plane. She showed us the tickets too.

time does go by fast i was only in the 4th grade when this happened and i made a cloth thats in the freedom flag on display at D.C. mine is the very top right corner and today we stood up for a moment of silence and the second i stood up the principal said ok that will be all. ill always remember and pray for those lives lost
