beginner upgrades

hey guys. i have a xtra 05 with a rocking trigger on it and thats all. i want to use hpa and my friend said that i need a new reg, but i dont know wat should i upgrade to use hpa on my gun with its full performance. plez help me

well you can eithert stay high pressure with ur gun or you can go LP. going LP is much more expensive because u have to mod/buy new parts for ur gun. But stayign HP would mean just screwing in the HPA tank and go. no upgrades needed for you to go HP.

Ok, he's talking about getting a High Pressure tank for his gun. Or at least i think that's what he's saying.

HPA is the best thing you can do for your gun. The tank itself has a regulator on it, so you really don't need a reg yet. It will help you regulate your gun better, but just to clear things up for ya....Your gun, as it is now, is designed to shoot at around 850 psi. The output of a HPA tank is about 800 psi. (If you get a low pressure tank, it'll be set around 450 psi - you don't want that for your spyder!)

Compressed air (HPA) is cleaner and will not hurt the internals of your gun. It's an awesome upgrade IF you have the capability to get it refilled.

a stoc spyder runs at abot 850 psi (as said above) this is called HP (because it runs at a HIG PRESSURE) when you upgrade your gun you can get it running at about 300 psi this is LP (because it is running at a LOW PRESSURE).

A HPA tank has a reg on it which puts out about 800 psi (which is a high pressure). an HPA tank is much better than a CO2 tank, it doesnt mean that ur gun is HP, people have there guns running at 300 psi with an HPA tank on it.

if you buy an HPA tank (compressed air tank) you will notice a big differenc with your gun performance, and you can use the tank when u havefully upgrade your marker to make it LP.

Really the best thing you can do is read Otter's site thoroughly. He has put together a great list/how to on making a LP Spyder. He goes through different parts and their performance and even has a few recommendations for LP on a budget. After you read that if you still have questions by all means ask them here.
