hey guys,
besides wrapping them up in tape, is there anything i can do to make the pilot grips a little less flimsy...just caz when u get shot in the hands, paint sometimes gets thru the grips...and i fear a short of my board... thnks, ethanp123 |

thats all you can really do besides buying a new set of dye stickies

you can take a piece of plastic wrap and put that under the grips.
Wrap it around the frame then put the grips on top.

I did the plastic-wrap trick for a few weeks, but Dye sticky grips are the way to go. They seal well, and they are much more comfortable to hold. The Pilot is one marker where I think new grips are a must. That, and the annoying tendency of the cocking knob to fly out, are the two weakest points of the marker. Otherwise, it is great.
