alright this is a sign up thread for for a gun building contest that needforspeed and i developed.
rules: 1. gun has to be proven to be created for $175 or less. if you have had the parts on hand theyre free. 2. gun must be custom, not just an upped gun. 3. gun must be created/built by november 13, 3 months from now. 4. if you recently built it than you can use it but it still must fall under rule #1. 5. pics, video and spec sheet must be created by the end of the deadline and the gun must be in semi mode for the vid, capped or uncapped. 6. 2 guns may be created but the total must fall under rule #1. 7. November 15 a poll will be set up to vote. Voting on your marker is cool. Poll will last 10 days. 8. There will be two polls, one for mechanical markers (no battery) & one for electric markers (powered by a battery.) 9. All contestants must donate something as an entry fee. Stickers, small parts, macro line, etc... (if you have a problem with this rule contact oldironmudder, needforspeed or I.) 10. The donations will be split evenly between the two winners. (mechanical and electric) 11. No limit to number of contestants. 12. Have fun and be safe (or not). 13. spec sheet must be in this format: (if you have a question about the spec sheet contact oldironmudder on aim) Quote:

$150 seems kind of low, especially if you don't have any parts to start with.

just list how much you spent on every peice. if you got it free or already had it than put that down. just dont lie. be honest.
shunut does have a good point tho. but it makes the contest mo0re interesting. edit: limit changed to $175. multiple gun rule added. Last edited by Oscum Guy : 08-13-2007 at 05:50 PM. |

I think my MR1 is under $175... since I got alot of parts for free... How do you prove it though?
MR1 - $75 J&J Ceramic 14" barrel - $10 MR3 Rail - $15 Trinity Stock - $30 ACP Bolt $10 Hobby Horse Black Fittings - $16 Single trigger frame from a Spyder Classic - Free Q-loader system with a couple pods - Free (thanks again PBGrandpa!) M4 Barrel Shroud and Front sight - $15 That would be $171... but I don't remember if those were my exact prices or not. ![]()
