also does anyone no why the clear window on the grips never lines up with the read out on the frame?

they don't line up because the window was designed to fit the older IPI display and not the newer CAMD screen.

its not worth it. it would just reqwuire moving the window over a couple of cm. Dye has better things to do then re-deasign there spyder grips

You can see the display fine by just looking at it on a slight angle, which i usually have to do anyway to get rid of glare, so no biggie.
