... it's only a 9oz tank... how is the gun that heavy? I personally like it heavy... it's a mil-sim gun. If it isn't heavier than my AR-15, then it's considered light.

Did you really buy a Milsim marker and complain of the weight? It could be worse, I seen some guy with a MR3 w/ a 20 inch barrel and HPA right on his marker. That was like 9lbs.

i run a remote and use the tippman dagger vest (great vest, hardly tell there is a tank on my back, but hard to reach extra pods) http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/...AAAAERo5g8qVcO

Just man up, the marker is just heavy and you have to get used to it. A couple sets of pushups won hurt.

You think the marker is heavy, shoot when I was in the Corps I carried a M60 with several 100 round belts plus my pack. On a good day I carried a extra 90 lbs. I like the heavier feel, makes me think that it is more durable than a lighter one. Again best advice is doing some push ups and get a sling

Jarhead, you jarheads are friggin nuts. I remember carrying my combat load, my fieldpack plus my medical packs and that came in at about 50 pounds, maybe 55. Good thing I'm not an MG gunner. But I do agree, the weight of the MR2 makes it a stable platform to shoot. Far from being dismissive, the advice given to toughen up is a good one - that and the remote+sling config will also lighten the load somewhat. |

Back in the day I ran a TL+, 16" barrel w/ silencer, revvy & 20oz tank. Tipped the scales at 15lbs w/ no paint. I could handle it but full on running was a bit rough.
