![]() Would there be any defects in the performance of the bolt if I were to cut from halfway through the skinnier portion back to the end? I need to utilize the smallest back half of the top possible for my pump project, so I do not need the pin hole area, or anything. Last edited by TimVanNormal : 07-29-2007 at 08:02 PM. |

I'd take out the bolt and line it up with where it would be in the cocked position. Anything behind where the last o-ring is, can be cut.

Does the pin hole go through to connect to the striker? That would be my only concern, how to connect the bolt to the striker, otherwise, the 2 other o-rings should be enough to seal it fine.
