Default Not a new gun, but definitely new

I'm sure some of you remember my Galant:

(I put a stereo in it since I posted pictures last but most haven't seen them)

You can kind of see the speakers I put in the doors.

Anyway, lets get to the actual point of this thread. I sold my Galant on Tuesday. In its place in the driveway I put this...

2007 Honda Civic EX, Atomic Blue.

I absolutely love. I have had 8 cars in my life and this is my first brand new car and my 3rd Civic.

Should have gotten the SI!!! AHH! lol.

My brother was telling me how the 2007 (He works for SUN Systems and travels around the US teaching people about computers and gets to rent all the coolest cars. Last weekend he showed up in a white 2007 Ford Mustang. I had fun driving that...) Civic SI has the smoothest shifter (if you get standard) that hes EVER used in a car. He said it was like butter. The 2007's are ugly if you ask me... personally I think they destroied the Civic line with the new body designs... but the SI is pretty sweet.

I suppose if you put a body kit on it/swap out the bumpers and such it would look nicer to me... But to each his own.

Honda engines will out live the body of your car. No doubt. My friend has 240k miles on his 1994 Civic and it's still running as smooth as the day he bought it. Body is all rusted out though ahhaa.

Looks great. IMO, depsite its stock-ness I think its nicer than the Galant. Galant looks a bit too "ghetto" with those rims.

I would have loved to get the Si but I didn't for a couple reasons.

1. Out of my price range.
2. I would get in so much trouble and I would lose my license in like a week because I love to drive fast.
3. This one has way better fuel consumption, almost 10 mpg better. Which was part of the reason I was getting a new car in the first place.
4. You have to use Premium gas on the Si, which will add up.
5. Insurance is way higher on the Si. My insurance only went up $6 a month with this car.

This is one of the first Civics that I have like the body styling on in years.

Unless I do something to this car, the body will last just as long as the engine, we don't have rust problems in AZ.

I know all about the longevity of Hondas. I've owned 2 before this one and my sister had a 1982 Honda Civic that just died last year, it had 300k miles.
