Yes we've seen the new E-MR1, original pics were posted almost a month ago by one of the mods who received the new Kingman catalog. And, no, the grips would not work on the mech frame, if you look closely, the E-MR1 has the same 3 screw set-up as the MR2, while the mech MR1 has a 2 screw set-up. Now, if you're asking if the whole grip frame will fit, then yes, as the MR1 uses the standard Spyder frame mounts.

...why would you want an E-MR1 when you can get a MR2 and not have the rail problems...

Or get an MR2..

It's not a good idea if you ask me... it's silver, comes with an upgraded delrin bolt, upgraded stock, and e-grip, when you can get an MR2 for the same price that has a BUCH better rail system, delrin bolt, e-grip, and has the hideaway cocking pin.

E-MR1 is a waste of money.

If it's cheaper than the MR2...and doesn't have an ACS bolt, I'll tell you right now that it'll be better. Lighter also.

Woops...except it's called at 15BPS, that's it's only downside IMO.
