Alright so I got my Empire barrel kit in today that I bought off ebay. It's used which yeah it never said it was new on the auction which is ok cause it's in great condition other than a couple scratches on the tip of the barrel and I got a great deal on it. My problem is that it's 16" instead of 14" stated on the auction. I don't necessarily have a problem with this but I'm wondering can I buy a 12-14 inch front for it? I looked on pbgear.com and they didn't have any but was wondering if any of the other two piece barrel's match up with the empire back? The 16 will be fine in airball but no no way for anything else plus I use an 11" on my phantom so it's really too big of a difference!

I know NPS sells them, since I worked for an NPS dealer before, so PM Durrell.

EDIT: Also, Ultralight and Empire barrels are threaded the same, so you could use a UL front if you wanted to.

its not a 16. if you measure it, its actually a 15. empire measures their barrels weird, and they say their 15 is a 14, so technically the auction wasnt lying.

yes you can buy new fronts for it, but they are kinda expensive (at least they were when i was looking).

When I looked in the price list, they were on sale, and like $5 dealer price. I never paid attention to retail since I never paid it

Since the 14" that seems like a 16" is really a 15", you might want to go with the 12" that seems like a 14" but is really a 13", or the 10" that seems like a 12" but is an 11", not to be confused with the 16" that seems like an 18" and is really a 17"
