paint or anno?
if it's regular paint then paint thinner should do the job. annodizing is a whole nother story.

how exactly do you remove anno? Ive always wondered i always figered they use an acid bath

You use lye. But you've got to be VERY careful when using it.

when he says careful he means it. if you leave it in to long you run the risk of destroying the body, putting pits in it, and making it look like both a teenager with bad acne, and the moon
