Ok, I've also done some research on how the qev's work on the ego and its exactly like the timmy except better. There is a QEV on either side of the rammer. Pressure is applied to one side of the rammer to send it forward, and diverted to the other side to retract it. If you look at an autococker ram with 2 QEVs, its the same function. So thats what I've found and I hope it clears things up about the operation of the Ego.

Yeah, 7lbs is mainly the box that the Ego comes in. It has a metal cover that slides on and off the box and then the foam box where the Ego sits is actually very heavy. The Ego, without tank and hopper, only weighs a little over 2 lbs, it is very, very light.

wow thats a first!! i have never heard of a marker that comes with a metal slide over cover, great idea. well i guess you get the cool silver metal box when you spend a grand or more on a marker, lol. you better anyway, hehe.

anyway still, SWEET marker, i love it the more i look at it.
