pringles cans.
Pods are only a couple bucks each, why not just buy some? The pringles cans are going to cost about the same price so you aren't saving anything. Guess you could make pods out of PVC pipe and caps, but then you're talking even more cost.

the noobs at my feild use emptied and cleaned gatorade bottles. They use the stubbier ones, with the wide mouth.
But, like vike said, thier a few bucks, make the investment.

I would just by them. The guy that owns the field that i go to usally just gives me some every time i go and play.

We always dip into the community pod chest - whenever you find a pod laying around on the field after a day of play, or a tournament....FREEBIES!
Course, that works on the principle that I, eventually, will lose a pod or two myself - lost one of my lock lids once, dang it! Of course, I had found another one prior to that, so it evened out...

yeah i went to the field one day with 9 locklids and left with nine but half of them werent mine!?lol
but like everyonne else suggested make the investment

I ref/work at a local field (in Lodi, CA) I went sunday and went with 8 pods and came home with 15 pods all freebies
. Also XSV, Naughty Dogs, Oakland Blast, Bob Long ( by the way he was a really cool guy), Epic, Leagacy, Oakland Assassin, Bushwackers and a few more teams that I can't remember where all out there. I got a chance met some really cool ppl. But anyway go to ur local field and ask a ref or someone like that if they have any extra pods laying around. Chances are they have more that a few they can spare. Good luck.
