Default noise level..

when i shot my vs2, it was really loud, any ideas how to lower the noise without takin drastic measures?

I think the only thing you can do to lower noise is by an even longer barrel with more porting or even one with a muzzle break. I'm assuming by 9' barrel tip, you mean the 9 inch vs barrel tip making your barrel 14 inches and you dont mean a 9 inch aftermarket barrel.

what can i do to my gun so that it would be more air efficient, and it would make less noise...help plz

i have my vs2 running at 200 at it is still really loud.

Well, given that those two are mutually exclusive goals, unless you're running at a high PSI like already posted, I don't think you can do both. A longer barrel with more porting will make it quieter, but it'll use more air. A shorter barrel with less porting will make it more air-effecient, but it'll get louder.

Drop it to 200 and it should quiet down abit and use less air per shot.

well if you want more efficiency you need a less ported barrel, which will make the sound signature louder If you want it quieter, then use a very ported barrel. Guess it is your choice, however you are playing paintball and even the quietest marker is loud.
