No-pro feedneck!

Ok I just ordered a CCM no-pro feedneck for my Ironmen Timmy this morning! I don't supposed I can use and eggy on it for awhile could I? I highly doubt it but just wondering! I think I'm gonna keep the stock feedneck on till I get a halo or reloader then switch them out but I had to buy the clamping feedneck soon cause CCM is discontinuing making the STO threaded feedneck's!

I have everything I need to finish this timmy on the way now!!!!

It's a no-pro it's so low you have to cut your halo or reloader to level it off! Make's for an extreme low profile!

I think I'll just wait till I buy another halo or reloader till I switch them out!

You could but it will sit high, you'll be fine if you don't mind chopping the raceway down some.

I agree with phil, you could put the eggy on there it might just sit a little high. At least you'll get to use the new neck until you get a new loader.

If you cut the Eggy neck it won't fit tight in the feedneck. I cut my eggy neck when I got my Shocker, it had a q-lock. The eggy's raceway is fatty at the bottom than it is near the top, so when you cut off the ammount needed, you hit the part that is thinner. Even with the q-lock all the way adjusting tight, it still wouldn't hold for crap. I had to put a piece of tape around the raceway to keep it tight.

I'll probably just hold off then and wait till I get a halo or reloader b. I've already cut my eggy down to where the black part is touching the feedneck so it's pretty low profile right now. At least I'll already have the feedneck when I get another hopper so I should be good to go!

I really don't understand why someone would get one of those because it only makes abour 1/2" difference from one that would hold the neck of a hopper much better. Seems there'd be more a chance of the hopper possibly releasing from the neck at 1/2" compared to 1". Does 1/2" make that much difference in your profile while shooting. I have a no rise on my Imagine and can barely get my hands in there to cock the bolt. Any less and it seems it would be a chore.

I bought it cause I was told I wasn't a real baller without one and if I wanted to fit in with the clique I had to have one! They also told me to jump off a bridge in which I did but I choose a small bridge to do it so I could live!

Oh and it was $8 cheaper than the no-rise!

But really I figured that there wasn't too much of a difference with the stock feedneck compared to the no-rise so I went with the no-pro and if I didn't like it I could keep the stock feedneck or trade off the no-pro for a no-rise a lot easier than vice versa!
