I have really bad blowback up my feedneck when I shoot fast on my 05 electra. When only my hopper feed neck is full it will bounce the whole stack of balls up. Any one have ideas? I was thinking of cutting holes in the side of my gun to give the air somewhere else to go. Any one done this??

I would sugest either buying a clamping feedneck or drilling some holes in your stock one.

sorry it's an 05 electra. Already has a clamping feed neck.

drill some in the stock feedneck then if you're not looking to upgrade right now...

You can drill some small holes in your feedneck (near the base) to help with blowback.

ok but what about holes in the side of the body? I'm worried about making the feedneck too weak.

no because then you might lose velocity. I'd either drill a couple holes in the feedneck or you can get a different loader, like a Halo B, Reloader B or VLocity.

Getting a Halo, Reloader or VLocity would upgrade you to a true force fed hopper, in which there is constant pressure exerted on the ball stack, this would allow you to still have the blowback but be able to overpower it.

Yep, force feed 'em. Or keep your Egg and add a warpfeed.
