Default Battery not holding charge

I've been trying to charge my vs3 for a while now. I've left it charged over night and during my classes. Thats approximately 8 hours overnight and 4.5 hours after, and after about 5 fast shots the light would blink and if you keep going it would shut down. Anybody else having a problem like this? Could it be that the battery is dead?

i think you have reached the battery limit, try not to charge it more than 8 hours, and if that doiesnt work, you need a new battery. how many times approximately have u charged it?

Thats weird, i've probably charged it about 20-30 times, ive only had it for less than 3 months. The manual says its good for 700+ charges.

So it wasnt the battery. I charged the battery in a friends gun and now it works fine. So im thinking either the charger or the board. Please let it be the charger.

Well... make sure the connections on the board for the charger are good, and if those are fine, make sure that you have the charger plugged into the board all the way. If that doesn't fix anything, give Kingman a call: 1-800-KINGMAN (546-4626). They'll hook you up with a fix.

Hmm. When you put the plug into the charger socket on the gun, does it wiggle at all? Cause if it does, it may have gotten bumped while charging and the socket could have disconnected from the board. That happened to me, a little bit of soldering fixed it right up. Though I'm lucky to have a stepdad who's really good at that kind of thing, so it might not be that easy for you.

Clickclicksplat was right, i guessed I pushed the plug into the gun so far that it severed one of the connections to the board. I soldered it back together and its good as new. Taking a closer look at it and you can see that its a fragile part that was severed, be gentle pushing the plug in.
