imagine battery problem
i have a spyder imagine, the stock battery it came with stopped working so i thought i fried it, so i bought a new 9.6 and now when i turn it on and start walking it the red light still somes on after i just charged the battery for 6 hours

The battery is a standard Ni-MH battery, it's just a funny voltage. A partial charge would still make it useable. If you have access to a multitester that will test under load, try testing the battery, just to make sure, otherwise it could be a couple of things: a short in the charge circuit, improperly seated wiring, board failure, etc.

well i tried to charge it again and i prolly got about 500 shots and the battery came on again and can anyone tell me what the mAh is supposed to be? on the java ones it is 170 but on this generic one its 250

No, for whatever reason, Spyders need that extra .6v to work. You should be able to find them fairly cheap either in the b/s/t section here, on ebay, or any of the online stores that sell Spyder equipment.

well i took that battery back to my proshop and the guy told me that battery worked better than the java ones and gave me a charger and said to charge it for 7 hours.

They have a 9.6v called the MAHA Powerx. It is AWESOME! loved it so much I bought 3...then again I will never have to use the other 2... I also bought the charger. I was so pleased with it, i talked to the owner of the local paintball store and now he carries them, because he can't seem to ever get Kingman to send him a shipment of the Java's. Last time I posted this information the post itself was deleted....I wonder why?
