Take a regular ego, take it to art class, do some funky colors to it and you save 4k

While the colors remind me of a polished Partridge family, the ano is incredible, makes my little Spyders seem drab

Aurora Anodizing is cool....they put insane amount of electricity through the plated aluminum, and that comes out.
I think it's such a heavy price because 9 out of 10 of those Aurora Bodies get a watery grave, because the process is very hard to get right.

IMO it would be more worth it to have made it out of titanium, and then done the "anodizing" process for titanium using a 9 volt battery, some diet coke, some wires, and a piece of paper towel. It's actually a very interesting process, but the longer you hold the setup on the titanium, the different colors it changes.

Or strip the paint and take a blowtorch to it. It has the same effect.

The anno on that looks like what a blowtorch does to metal if you go over it quickly with the blue part of the flame... Sort of hurts the eyes looking at it haha.
