Its my parents old gear, I dragged it out of the attic. I am getting adaptors to use the 28mm and 50mm on my camera for ****s and giggles.

Early Christmas present from my parents came in today

Sekonic L-358 light meter and 12" folding grey card (for white balance)

pre metering:

using meter reading:

perfect exposure, I love not having to photoshop a damn thing to get the exposure right on :

I was gone for christmas so I haven't updated anything but today I got my christmas present that I bought myself

More Canon L glass mmmmmmmmmmm.....

My two babys together for the first time (the retarded step child, 50mm 1.8 is being used to take pic):

Sample pic right off camera, no adjustments or sharpening at all (my sister and her fiance with there mini beagle) I was laying in the grass about a foot and half away.....17mm kicks ass:

I originally picked up a tamron 17-50 2.8, had to return it twice and all three copys were ****, focus was way off, it was loud and felt like crap. Got a refund and got this, so much better. Doesn't have the 2.8 speed (but F4 is good enough for now) but build quality, focus speed, silent focus, full time manual focus more then make up for it. I won't buy anything but L glass from now on.
