I have to say, when you do something, you never do it half way. I use to love taking pictures, until anytime somebody blinked funny, everyone was telling me to get the camera. Became more of a job that a hobby. Good luck and have fun.

Wa! Thats amazing the camera can take a picture of itself? How many balls per second does it shoot? You should get an Ultralight frame for it.

so why did you get the 2gb disks in the retail packages when amazon has them bulk packaged at 4gb for the same price as the 2gb?

Rebate offer made them really cheap, camera needs 2GB or under to update firmware and I don't like putting a bunch of pics on one card, 450 jpegs or 200 raw is enough for me.

Couple pics I got from george bush park a few min ago:

This one ran at me lol:

they were hanging out on the wrong side of the lake for proper lighting but what can you do.

Welcome to my world David. At least you have time on your hands to play around with photos like that.

So far, I like the dog licking the water, the second lizard pic, and the water ones.

Trust me, you don't want a 4 gig card. If anything goes wrong with the card and it's full of priceless images, what are you going to do? 2 gigs is pushing it as it is.

In the wedding photography business, my father and I have learned it's far better to carry a few lower memory cards rather then 1 big one.
