yeah, its really strict, and the rule of thirds would have helped a lot of those, but other than that, nice background and lighting

Truck looks great but tell him to get some new front turn signal bulbs. The stock ones reflect alot of orange. Sylvania makes nice ones and theyre probobally all over ebay.
See the difference

dude it's a truck...if you want a sports car, get a sports car.

trricks on trucks are a waste of utility. It's meant to haul more than your butts around town...

You don't need a sports car when you own a lightning

I don't understand how you expect people to respect you if you can even type correctly. Either you're slow at typing, or your fast at typing, either way, it's hard to make that many typos.

Anyways, you don't always have the logo/badge on a car's front grill showing... Usually, it looks better, but there are times it doesn't. No matter what classes you take, or what books you read, there are no rules to photography. They're only suggestions. No one says you have to follow them. Look at the Mona Lisa, is that set by the Rule of Thirds? Look at a lot of modern day art and photography, they aren't set by the Rule of Thirds. Many times the Rule of Thirds doesn't even work out so well. Right now, I'm looking at 22 pictures and paintings within my room that have been in magazines and catalogs, and only 3 of them abide by the rule of thirds.

With that, there are several of his pictures that are running by the rule of thirds and the car is set in 1 or 2 of the 4 intersections.

Kids these days... They take a class and think they know everything... Pfft.

And Jerry, your pictures look pretty good. Now I have to say, it isn't safe to take pictures on an occupied road, LOL, which is I'm guessing why the driver is still in the truck in the first few pictures. I like what I see, keep it up!

BTW: Actually, I like the one picture from the floor of the truck and the Jeep with the boat on top of it, it looks neat. I think I've seen something like it before though. Oh and another hint, when it comes to cars, keep other people out of it, if anything, if you can't avoid keeping out the driver, don't put his face in, or if you can edit it in photoshop, darken the person out so it's just a silhouette. That way it won't break up the picture as much, unless you have lighter internal cloth. Oh and one more thing, the driving lights, I personally would say keep them off, especially if it's still pretty bright out (according to the picture). It kinda looks dinky under certain lighting, and looks really good under other lighting. But it's all trial and error.

"They are more like guidelines." Haha, anyways, I've never heard of them saying you should show the logo... And yes, I've heard of rule of thirds and blah blah blah, I'm in an imaging class, I know. You don't need to absolutely follow those rules. Photography is an art of expression, it's unlimited to what you want to do and what you like.
