it doesn't really slow it down, it uses a little bit more air and imo, it's a pain to carry around on your gun

Because using a quantum is like sticking chunks of lead in a blender, it's slow, monotonous, has a chance of breaking and rarely gets the job done. If you're still going to try and get a loader on the cheap. Look at the Invert Too, Empire Reloader II (not Reloader B or B2) or a Viewloader Revolution or Egg, all of which should be simple enough to find on here, PBnation or Mcarterbrown in the B/S/T (Buy/Sell/Trade) sections.

i dont really have problems with it because most of the time i dont have to turn it on but when i do its really loud and i cant hear whats going on around me.

That's why you get a loader that isn't constantly on... if you get one and it still bugs you, your ears are too sensitive.
