Default apex tip on mr1?

will an apex tip fit on a stock mr1 barrel?

Nope, you have to take it down about 1/16 all the way around maby closer to 1/8.

The barrel tip is to fat, the apex tip cannot "close" around it because of that so approximatly 5/8 of a inch back from the tip needs to be taked down about 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch for you to be able to put this tip on.
all you have to do is wrap a layer of electrical tape around the tip, that will give the 5/8 or so space you need. Then take it to a machinest or grab a hand file (a good one) and file it down all the way around the barrel about 1/16 to 1/8 smaller then it is right now. A strip about 1/2 inch wide

TOO much trouble if you ask me it would be better to just buy the barreel with apex on it already

you could do that but its more expensive. i got a ok barrel put tape on the end a fit it on. make sure if you do this the barrel is 7/8 inch in diameter
