![]() I go to the local paint shop and pick up a locking feed neck for my pilot. He asks me what type of gun I had and what kind of feedneck I had.. I told the guy it had the 2 screws and tab that hold the neck down. I walk out with a Shocktech feedneck. Problem is, when I go to install it in the gun...it doesnt fit tightly. It clamps my Fasta fine, but wobbles like hell at the base. It seems as if my screws wont lock it down..and those 2 little tabs are just too small to fill in the void from my stock neck. Has anyone encountered this? Did the guy give me the wrong part. Because he said the one for Spyders were all the same. When I hold the gun or try to run around the hopper twists around a few MMs..

![]() I think you need to screw them in more. They get tough at the end, but go at it at an angel.

![]() I'll give it a try, but I even took tghe little washer out from underneath the screws.. The little tabs seem to be too small, and its cause play.. Picture the hopper on the gun and holding it like you are shooting. Grab the hopper from the top and you can twist it back and forth...

![]() Im not going to lose sleep over it or anything, I already played 2 full days with it like that..It just bugs me that the gun doesnt feel as solid as it did with a plastic elbow. I might try to rig it up tomorrow at work..Stay tuned

![]() Do the tabs fit the entire cut out in the body? Dragon necks will fit loosly on Spyders but the tabs are noticably smaller....
Sometimes I can 'tune' tabs by slightly bending them up but it is not for the faint of heart... You might try a nylon washer, they have some give and might tighten it up as well.

![]() The same thing happened to me. I bought a UFD feedneck off of ebay for like $25. When i put it on and tighten it, the hopper felt real flimsy, and didn't hold it as good as the plastic elbow did. So i thought i was supposed to tighten the UFD feedneck super hard, and ended up breaking the screw inside the feedneck. Now i just have a piece of plastic to hold the feedneck and hopper in place.
