stock question

i want 2 use my stock when i play but if i try 2 look down the barrel i cant cuz my goggles hit the stock. i heard that u can cut the top rail off and it works fine but my dad said that it would break. would sawing the top rail off the stock work?

this is how it should look after you cut it, the stock will not break, because it is very solid.

( on the picture i put foam and duct tape on the back end of the stock because it was painfull to shoulder it all day long. )

Thats a similar idea as to what I was going to do with the stock. Only I was going to get some foam and drill holes then put those plastic tie down/lock down things through the holes, holding the foam in place.

Since I am going to get a car stock really soon, I'm going to do alot of twiddling with the stock, stock and make it look interesting, just because if I screw it up, it wont matter.

Check it...the same thing....the stock will be fine.....I recommend it actually

I sawed mine off as well....seems to be alright, even though I was worried about it taking away from the over-all strength of the stock by doing so. It doesnt appear as if it is going to break because of it, unless it comes down to serious hand-to-hand combat where I need to beat someone with the back end of the marker (J/K......I would unscrew the barrel and use that instead!, lol.)

I wouldn't try that with the J&J ceramic barrel.....but it would be fun...lol

I'll probably do that too once I get mine but I plan to get a folding stock or CAR stock later anyway. I really want the tactical look.
