What marker to buy

When buying a marker, make sure you take into account all the other important purchases you're going to need. If you're currently "entry-level", you guys are probably still using Co2. If so, that Ion won't appreciate that much. You'll need to pickup an HPA tank as well. Your 12v Revvy may or may not be able to keep up with the Ion, wo you may need a faster, force feed hopper as well.

There's more to consider when buying a new marker than just the marker. Will youhave any money left over from buying the marker for any additonal things you may need, (HPA, new hopper, etc.) and will you have any money to hit the field and play with that new marker?

Just something extra to think about there.

I'd say if he's planning on playing serious or even rec speedball, then get the ion.

He should get an Ion and put a big sheep decal on it. LOL The marker doesn't matter, just tell him get whatever he likes.
