Vertical adater mod
I was wondering If I started drilling peoples VA for increased air flow how many people would want me to do it. I'll start doing it for $10. Then after I get some money I'll buy more tools and I might start drilling and taping for gauges and drilling for eyes and drilling valves.
my prices would be $10 for drilling VA $15 for drilling VA and for gauge $15 for drilling for eyes and drilling and tapping for eye covers. $20 for drilling VA, gauge, and valve. Give me price ideas and any other things people have trouble installing on their spyders and I'll consider doing it. I'll probably do everything but now I'm just considering it. Those are pretty good prices for a novice machinist.... I would charge more because me being a machinist and haveing the tools at hand would prob do a more suficent job... but for you (i dont think you have any formal training?) those prices should sell pretty well....

yeah I have drill press and know how to use it. My dad has every tool but he's so messy I cant find anything. I know he probably has a set of taps but I cant find them.(Try looking through a 2 car garage filled from front to back with only one aisle in the middle) Thats why for now I'm only drilling the VA so I can save money to buy a set of taps so I can add guages to VA's and tap bodies for eye covers. My dad has almost every tool and I help him with all the stuff he builds and fixes so I know what I'm doing.
