ok, im about to present a packet with information about paintball specifically designed to persuade the school to allow a paintball club. i was wondering if you guys had input on what i should include in the packet.
currently i have ALL the PSP rule books, the NPPL rulebook, paintball safety information. an essay with my list of supports (currently revising). alot of pictures, local field information and rules, and a few paintball website links, really i only have nppl.tv and pspevents.com, so anymore links will help. if you think i should include more rules (i have important sections marked... it would be a pain to read through all 100 pages that i currently have) give me a link. im located in ohio, so im not sure what else i could really use. any ideas for the essay (my essay was too much "refer to _____(rules or sources)____" so more specifics the better) thanx guys. |

im planning on doing the same thing this year
but whatever you do i would recommend not saying "Paintball is much safer than football" wrong its what YOU make of the sport and how YOU play it |

Make sure and inform the school that you will not be bringing your markers or anything retaining to that idea onto the school premisis....

im sorry but with the knowlege of all the 3 times that ive seen guys get into preliminary stages and have the club fail (not denied by faculty, just given up on by the leaders) was due to inability to convince faculty that it is a safe sport. by showing statistics, and comparing it to known sports i can then show them the cautions that fields and tournaments make manditory in order to make it a safer sport. rugby club is continually denied for the simple reason that it is unsafe and the school does not want to be associated with its injuries.
the problem with the YOU aspect is that teachers know kids do stupid stuff, knowing that there is a strong adult and communtity presence keeping the rules regulated gives them a relief. and thechubbs... i got that down, clubs meet outside school so regulations would be stern and simple. |

unless he has permission to bring markers on premisis
still hacker but are those the minor injuries, or major cause maybe the most common is having a sprained ankle on tripping over a bunker or something and its close to 1 injury per 4000 participants |

or is it to the statistics that show injuries, and you find it amusing from mental images of people getting injured in bowling alleys i'd like to know which it was so that if it is the latter, i can adjust my presentation. thanx |
