Rear Cocking for the Compact Deluxe

I've been thinking about getting an anti chop bolt for my C/D but don't see anything which is currently made for this model. So, I was thinking about doing the rear cocking mod. My concern is, what do I do with the cover plate at the back of the marker? Can I just cut it off? If I do the rear cocking mod which anti chop bolt will work with this?

Yes, you can remove the plate and make it rear cocking, it wont hurt anything. And yes, the ACS bolt will work with that application.

So I could use either the long or short acs rear cocking bolt and cut off the top plate at the rear of the marker?

I havent messed with the ACS bolts much, but I'd imagine you'd need the long one for rear cocking, the short seems like it would be top cocking.

The long bolt fits the Xtra boddy which is essentially the same as the Compact, so I'd go with the long bolt.

you might want to invest in a beavertail to keep that long bolt from hitting you in the face when you are playing, it will leave a nice welt/bruise.

... i have an aggressor XT beavertail .. the gun doesn't work ... from my friends point of view .. so he made me fix it .. and i found out ... the valve o-rings were damaged ... and the cupseal was pretty scratched ... but ... i dunno if my friend wants it back ... if he doesn't there's a possiblility i'd sell it to you ...
