ok well this board gets more traffic than the actual boards for the MR2 so i figured i would ask this here, is the gun actually worth getting? becuase ive heard that the detents need to be replaced in it or it will just chop balls and is it absolutely necessary to have an electric hopper, like an egg or will the gun work alright with a gravity feed.

I think they fixed that concern w/a different type of detent. Black not red -

Gravity feed will on any marker as long as you don't shoot past 5bps -

btw which hopper would you reccomend for this gun? would the VL Quantum work alright or would it have to be a better one?

Egg to fast for marker if Z boarded, causes chops. Same thing with Halo...stick with the Revy, stay away from the quantum

First, there is no such thing as a hopper that's too fast for the marker. There is such a thing as a marker too fast for the hopper. Second, the MR2 has a 25bps cap, an Eggo-Z claims 23bps. The hopper will not be faster than the marker -

Put a QLoader on it...low profile, woodsball friendly.....can't out shoot it with ANY marker

O.K. Dragon, since we are splitting hairs on this...I'll correct the statement to say that the Z Egg forces the paint past the MR2 ball stop, causing barrel breaks in LARGE numbers. I was trying to keep it simple for the guy by not going into alot of "Techy" talk. My appologies if I caused someone to blow up their marker, or write any bad checks, lol.
