Thinking about getting a tablet, So far I've got it down to the Kindle Fire HD, Samsung Galaxy 2, and Google Nexus 7. Thoughts or opinions on any of them?

I love my Kindle Fire. I use it everyday! Never used an Ipad outside of the store, though, but the Kindle does what I need it to do which is browse the web, read books and play some games. Haven't done anything with the other ones you mentioned so can't comment on those.

From what I've been told by one of my friends, he absolutely loves the Nexus 7. He's very picky with technology, but he felt it was the best bang for his buck by a long shot.

So the other night I sent an email to my uncle David, who I haven't seen or talked to in over a decade due to he and my dad having some sort of fall out. Anyway, he sent me a nice response, including pictures of he, his wife and dog the next morning. Me was essited.
