Soo.. took some steel wool to the rusty bits on the bike. The forks are nice and shiny again. I do need to take apart a fair amount though. Crash bar needs to be sandblasted, and the exhaust is pretty fubar'd. But I think I'll just get some pipes for that. As well I need to invest in some handlebars. The stock ones come down so low that if I'm sitting on the bike they'll interfere with that whole turning thing.
Thinking if I can't just rotate them up (Ontario law states it can't be more than 14 inches from the top of the seat to the top of the handlebar), I think the stock ones will easily clear that. I'm thinking I might need to get a drag bar, or one off another bike.

So my managers are giving me all the money shifts now apparently. Im working wed, thurs, fri nights, double sat and sunday morning. Thats six out of the 16 total shifts to be divided between four bussers. Guess im doing something right.

I bus at a restaurant in "downtown virginia beach". There are nights where I pull in like 120.
